Speaking of the 2008 Macworld Expo (the context of the latest Geeks in Love episode), you might want to check out the last few minutes of last Tuesday’s Steve Jobs keynote speech.

Ever since Apple made it big in the music biz with the iPod+iTunes, these keynotes often end with a live musical performance.

So you can skip all the snazzy product introductions and go straight to 1 hour and 17 minutes into the video stream to catch Randy Newman’s song/scat. Not exactly what you’d expect to hear in such a context, even if Apple is definitely one of the least revolting corporations around.

I’ve always loved Randy Newman, his ragtime piano-playing and tough humour. And if the first song is too much for you, you can recover while he sings one of the songs he composed for Toy Story…
