Tragic Strips

Before, multimedia, before computers, what was a poor, proto-Multimedia Author to do?!

Well here's an example. I stumbled upon these just over a week ago in my dusty archives.

Somtime between 1980 and 1983 (!), I authored a bunch of expressionistic "bandes déssinées" using good old paper, china ink, and a chinese calligraphy brush. In fact, these were largely improvised, with little or no preparation or preliminary pencil work.
